Special thanks to Dr Jagger and colleagues at Heathbridge House Surgery, Sandra Owen Macmillan Nurse and staff at "Y Bwythyn Newydd" and Velindre Hospital, Cardiff for their kind, sympathetic care. Thanks also to Rev Ian Rees, Vicar of Pyle and Maudlam for his kind words of comfort to the family and his exemplary handling of the services. Also to David Howell and Sons Funeral Directors of 39 Bridge Street, Kenfig Hill and Coychurch Crematorium staff for the dignified way the funeral and service was conducted. Thanks also to Bethlehem Life Centre, Cefn Cribwr for the use of their premises. A total of £1,030 was raised in memory of Marlene who was a very special lady, which will be presented to Macmillan Cancer Care. Our grateful thanks to everyone who donated.
